Classes at the farm
The alternative classroom
Next to the riding programs and farm holidays the Flachenhof also offers "classes at the farm":
Interested school classes and other groups of children get the opportunity to experience more about the animals and work at the farm. In 3-5 hours we understand and learn a lot, but also we will have a lot of fun (PDF in german).
After a tour on the farm and meeting all the animals, we offer the following program:
- horses and ponies and / or
- baking full grain bread
- together in the forest
The excursion costs 15 € per child (a snack is included) and you can get partly refunded by the office of school financing afterwards.
On request you will receive further information and we will create an individual offer for you and your group of 15-30 children. We offer different languages.

Our classes at the farm program is also bookable for children´s birthdays (up to 8 children) with some activities with the horses, farm animals and treasure hunt. We ask you to bring your own cake and drinks.
